The Gwinnett County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority strives to bring value to the greater Gwinnett community, workforce, and society by enhancing the lives of the debutantes and beaus through:
- Exemplary Programs
- Preparation Techniques
- The Pursuit of Personal & Scholarly Excellence
- Commitment to Service to the Greater Gwinnett Community
Personal Development Seminars
Cotillion~Beautillion participants are allowed to participate in a nine-month program consisting of personal development seminars in the areas of:
- Financial Management
- Relationship Development
- Effective Communication
- Dining/Social Etiquette
- Networking
Also, debutantes and beaus must give back to the community by participating in local community service activities. Through community service, participants can exchange information, establish camaraderie, reinforce bonds of friendship, build personal character, and obtain invaluable experience they can use as a foundation for lifelong achievement.
Our Commitment
The Cotillion~Beautillion Program reinforces parental values, promotes responsible citizenship, and encourages community activism. It aims to develop well-rounded initiatives that young men and women can learn from and use in strengthening the community while respecting and enhancing the individualism of every debutante and beau.
GCAC strives to produce critically aware individuals confident to challenge problematic societal norms and develop viable solutions to problems while promoting empowerment, leadership, and personal accountability through mentorship.
